On detail

For 16 years as a jeweller, I lived this quote. I was the person losing sleep over a 0.2mm edge. My goldsmith called me “laser eyes.” Every detail felt essential.

And at first, it was. That obsession built my eye.

But mastery has a second chapter. The longer you do something, the more you understand it and the more you understand it, the more clearly you see what actually matters. You stop sweating all the details. You start perfecting the right ones.

The lesson? Tobi’s quote is where excellence begins.

Knowing which details deserve your obsession,  that’s where it matures.

Have a great Monday!
